Hello, welcome to the Newmarket Hotel (or the Newy for friends... and we like the look of you already). A long standing institution of Newmarket, inside these four walls belly laughs are encouraged, double dipping is mandatory and the 'we just need five more minutes to decide' will always be fine with us.
We're a local, for the locals. Big cheesy grins welcome you every time you step through our doors. Whether it be for a quick Newy Brew or a bite to eat, that old school laid back Queensland hospitality is a fixture that hasn't changed (even though we might look a little different).
Our bar has everything you need to watch the game, a huge range of ice cold beer, wine and cocktails, plus a delicious menu to match. You, your mates and an afternoon in Brissy will never go astray here. Or looking for an alternative spot to relax (after finishing your shopping session at Newmarket Village next door)? Head upstairs for a birdseye view from the Loft, complete with share plates for grazing because after all, sharing is caring. Someone have a spare cousin or a friend of a friend? Bring them, the more the merrier we say.

The Big Screen Bar
The Big Screen Bar was made for every occasion (because all of life's moments should be enjoyed with a sip of a beer or a shake of a cocktail in our opinion). Tables long enough to fit the whole crew to catch up over the week's events, or for those that are just after a quick drink, we've got you covered too.
A huge screen means the game is always on, and a food menu to match means you'll be sharing a chip or two with your mates (at the end of the day, sharing is caring). A full range of ice cold beer on tap, plus a wine, spirits and cocktail menu available, every taste is covered.
The Loft
Head upstairs and you'll find a much more intimate space, one that we think is perfect for a quiet drink, or to enjoy the best of the weekend with good people. Ask the team for a specialty cocktail, each one of our team has a favourite, or if beer, wine or spirits is more up your alley, we've got something for you too.
Mrs P’s
Fancy a drink at Mrs P’s? Named after one of our cherished publicans of time’s past, you’ll never be a stranger in her house. Meet our brand new cocktail bar, where there truly is something for every taste. Comfortable booths along our floor to ceiling windows means all you need to do is relax, and enjoy the atmosphere.
A cocktail bar for a reason, you’ll have your choice of a full range and specialty menu, and if you ever get stuck the team behind the bar are ready to spruik their favourites and help you find something you’ll love.
THE TERRACE
Just a few steps from the Restaurant, our undercover Terrace is the perfect spot to kick back with friends, enjoy a bite, and take in those Queensland breezes, all without worrying about the sun.
